QashierCare for QashierX2 Terminal
QashierCare for QashierXL Terminal
 
The Plan QashierCare (“The Plan”) is an extended warranty program governing the service provided by Qashier.
 
Coverage Device The Plan covers the following equipment (collectively, the “Covered Equipment”): (i) the QashierX2 terminal, (ii) the QashierXL terminal (“Covered Device”) listed on your Purchase Form, and (ii) the accessories contained inside the original packaging of your Covered Device. The Covered Device must be purchased as new from Qashier.
 
Coverage Term The Coverage Term begins after your Covered Device has been delivered to you after you purchased it from Qashier, and extends the duration of the limited warranty coverage period of twelve (12) months to twenty-four (24) months.
 
What is Covered?
Hardware Defects You may submit a valid claim during the Coverage Term by notifying Qashier that hardware defects are identified, which includes:
  • Power adapter, which comes together with the original packaging of your Covered Device, is unable to charge the Covered Device’s battery or power up the Covered Equipment due to a factory defect. Qashier will exchange the power adapter for a replacement product that is new or refurbished and has been tested and passed Qashier’s functional requirements.
  • Swollen battery of your Covered Device which is not due to accidental damage. Qashier will exchange the terminal for a new replacement product that is new or refurbished and has been tested and passed Qashier’s functional requirements.
  • Flickering screen due to factory defect, not accidental damage, to either Primary Screen or Secondary Screen, or both Primary and Secondary Screen of your Covered Device. Qashier will exchange the terminal for a new replacement product that is new or refurbished and has been tested and passed Qashier’s functional requirements.
  • Dead pixels appear on the screen due to factory defect, not accidental damage, to either Primary Screen or Secondary Screen, or both Primary and Secondary Screen of your Covered Device. Qashier will exchange the terminal for a new replacement product that is new or refurbished and has been tested and passed Qashier’s functional requirements.
  • Primary Touchscreen Panel or Secondary Touchscreen Panel, or both Primary and Secondary Touchscreen Panels of your Covered Device are not responsive due to factory defect. Qashier will exchange the terminal for a new replacement product that is new or refurbished and has been tested and passed Qashier’s functional requirements.
 
You may submit an unlimited amount of claims to Qashier on condition that the Covered Equipment defects identified are due to factory defects.
If Qashier exchanges the Covered Equipment, the original product becomes Qashier’s property and the replacement product is your property.
 
Accidental Damages You may submit to a maximum of two (2) valid claims during Coverage Term by notifying Qashier that the Covered Device has failed due to accidental damage from handling. Qashier will exchange the Covered Device with a replacement product that is new or refurbished, subject to a replacement fee as described below:

What is Not Covered? You may not submit a claim for the following circumstances:
– Wear and tear, scratches, and cosmetic issues from normal usage.
– Lost or stolen Covered Equipment.
– Intentional damage, misuse, tempered or trying to repair the Covered Equipment by yourself.
– Natural disasters or other external causes.
 
Conditions of Claims To receive service under the Plan, you are required to fulfil the following conditions:
  1. Your QashierPOS subscription is still active and valid.
  2. Provide your Purchase Form and a copy of your Plan’s original proof of purchase.
  3. Provide information about the symptoms and causes of the issues with the Covered Equipment.
  4. Provide the information needed to diagnose or service the Covered Equipment.
 
All claims submitted by you are subjected to the final assessment by Qashier’s technical team to be deemed valid.
 
Cancellation
Once you purchase the Plan, you cannot cancel the purchase or request a refund.
Qashier has the right to cancel this Plan immediately and without prior notice once the Coverage Term has expired.

General Terms
  1. Qashier is not responsible for any failures or delays in performing your claim, hardware inspection or hardware delivery process that are due to events outside of Qashier’s reasonable control.
  2. Qashier may, at its discretion and solely to monitor the quality of Qashier’s response, record part or all of the calls between you and Qashier.
  3. Qashier is not obligated to extend the coverage period of this Plan. If Qashier does offer to renew this Plan, Qashier will determine the price and terms.
  4. Qashier reserves the right to modify or amend this Terms and Conditions policy at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting on Qashier’s official website and all its sub-domains.
  5. “Qashier” is Qashier Sdn.Bhd. Northpoint, A-22, No. 1, Medan Syed Putra, Mid Valley City, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, legal and financial obligor.
  6. This Plan is offered and valid only in Malaysia. The laws of Malaysia govern this Plan.
