Terms of Service.
Our services agreement and general terms for using Qashier.
Qashier Daily Billing Model
This document outlines the specific Terms and Conditions governing the Daily Billing Model for Qashier software services. By opting into this billing cycle, the Merchant (“You”) agrees to be bound by these terms in addition to Qashier’s Master Service Agreement.
1. Daily Billing & Payment Mechanism
1.1 Subscription Fees
The software subscription fee is charged on a daily basis for every calendar day of the year (including weekends and public holidays), regardless of whether the terminal or software was actively used on that day.
1.2 Payout Deduction
Fees will be automatically deducted from your daily merchant payouts (e.g., debit/credit card processing settlements, e-wallet settlements).
1.3 Fee Rollover
In the event that your daily payout volume is insufficient to cover the daily software fee, the outstanding amount will be rolled over to the following day. This balance will continue to accumulate as a negative balance until your payouts are sufficient to settle the arrears.
1.4 Hardware Fees
The hardware fee is charged on a daily basis, subject to a minimum commitment period of twenty-four (24) months. In the event of cancellation, or of any failure to collect the daily hardware fee, Qashier reserves the right to charge the full hardware fee for the remainder of the commitment period as a single lump sum, which shall become immediately due and payable.
2. Account Status & Delinquency
2.1 Negative Balance Threshold
Qashier monitors account balances daily. If your account remains in a negative balance for fourteen (14) consecutive days, Qashier reserves the right to trigger an automatic Account Lock.
2.2 Account Lock Consequences
While an account is locked:
- Access to the Qashier software and POS functions will be suspended.
- The Merchant will be unable to process transactions.
- Daily fees may continue to accrue during the lock period as per the active subscription.
- Service will only be restored once all outstanding arrears are settled in full.
3. Cancellation & Termination
3.1 Notice Period
Either party may terminate the daily billing agreement by providing at least thirty (30) days’ written notice.
- During this 30-day notice period, the daily billing will continue, and fees will remain payable.
- Final settlement of any outstanding negative balance must be cleared upon the final day of the notice period.
3.2 Reactivation Fee
Should a Merchant wish to reactivate their Qashier software after a cancellation has been processed, a Reactivation Fee of $200.00 (exclusive of applicable taxes) shall apply. This fee must be paid in full before service is restored.
4. Use of Platform & Transferability
4.1 Non-Transferability
The right to use the Qashier platform is strictly non-transferable. The account is uniquely tagged to:
- The Registered Company/Entity (as identified by the UEN or Business Registration Number).
- The Registered User Email Address provided during onboarding.
4.2 Account Transfer Requests
Any request to transfer an account to a different legal entity or a different primary email address is subject to Qashier’s internal approval.
- An Account Transfer Fee may apply to process such requests.
- Qashier reserves the right to deny transfer requests if the new entity does not meet credit or compliance requirements.
5. Modifications to Terms
Qashier reserves the right to amend these terms, including the daily fee rates and reactivation fees, by providing notice to the Merchant via email or via the QashierHQ portal. Continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Note: Please ensure your registered email address is kept up to date to receive important billing notifications and status alerts regarding your account balance.
