Frequently Asked Questions

What do I get for $5 a day?

The whole platform on one subscription: the POS, payments online and in store, your website, ordering, bookings, loyalty, automated marketing, review management, channel integrations, Xero and GTO submission. There are no feature tiers and no add-on catalogue to work through. The plan covers up to 3 terminals, 3 HQ users, 9 stores and 10 staff.

Is the hardware included in the $5 a day?

No. The $5/day is the software. The terminal comes one of two ways. On the daily bundle it is folded into the daily rate, so a QashierX2 setup is $6/day, a QashierXL SLIM setup is $6.50/day and a self-ordering kiosk is $7/day, all with nothing upfront. On the 2-year bundle you prepay two years of Qashier at S$3,650 and the QashierX2 is included, or add S$300 to upgrade to the QashierXL SLIM.

What happens after 24 months on the daily bundle?

The rate reverts to $5/day and the terminal stays with you. The daily bundle needs a 24-month commitment and a tenancy agreement covering at least two years. Without one, a S$500 deposit applies.

Can I still buy a lifetime plan or a sponsored Starter Kit?

No. New lifetime subscriptions have been discontinued and the old Starter Kit pricing is closed to new sales. Everything new is on the single Qashier plan. If you are already on an older plan, nothing changes for you.

What are the card processing rates?

Card rates run 1.70% ~ 2.75% for local cards in store, set by your industry and your card volumes. PayNow is 0.80% and GrabPay and Alipay+ are 1.50%, with a $0.20 minimum transaction fee. Ask us for your rate: rates are quoted transparently before you sign up.

Do I need to take payments through Qashier?

Yes. The plan is priced on the basis that you process payments through Qashier, and the POS locks if there is no card volume for 14 days. Where integrated QashierPay transactions are less than 50% of your monthly volume on Qashier, a S$200 per outlet monthly fee applies.

What if I run more than 9 stores?

That is what Qashier for Multi-outlet brands is for, from $248 a month. It lifts the caps on terminals, HQ users, stores and staff, and adds advanced access control, open API access and a dedicated account manager.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

No. Prices shown exclude 9% GST. Card processing rates are quoted separately and shown transparently before you sign up.
