Terms and Conditions: QashierPay Soundbox

  • Claim for FREE: Merchant receives QashierPay Soundbox and a compatible data SIM for $0 (worth $220). This promotion lasts until 30 Apr 2024.
  • 0% MDR: Promotional rate lasts until 30 Apr 2024. Subsequently, the PayNow MDR rate reverts to a subsidised 0.4%.
  • $100 cash reward: $100 cashback incentive applicable after $10,000 is transacted through Soundbox by 30 June 2024. Valid for merchants onboarded within the launch promo window.
  • The launch promotion is only applicable for merchants new to Qashier.
    • Existing Qashier merchants can acquire QashierPay Soundbox at $49 with the regular PayNow MDR rate.
  • The QashierPay Soundbox comes with 6 months warranty. For warranty, please get in touch with [email protected].
  • Qashier reserves the right to modify or amend this Terms and Conditions policy at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting on Qashier’s official website and all its sub-domains.

Soundbox Clawback Policy

Effective Date: 10 January 2024
 
  1. Hardware Provision:
1.1 The QashierPay Soundbox payment terminal and data-sim card (“hardware”) provided by Qashier Pte. Ltd. (“Qashier”) to the recipient (“Recipient”) is intended for use in conjunction with Qashier’s services.
 
  1. Clawback Right:
2.1 Qashier reserves the right to claw back any provided hardware at its discretion, without prior notice, under the following circumstances:
a. Transaction inactivity: If the Recipient does not transact a minimum of 20 transactions within 60 days of Soundbox activation.
b. Breach of Agreement: In the event of any breach of the agreement between Qashier and the Recipient.
c. Business Closure: If the Recipient ceases its business operations.
 
  1. Return of Hardware:
3.1 In the instances outlined in section 2, the Recipient agrees to promptly ready the provided hardware for retrieval by Qashier.
 
  1. Conditions of Return:
4.1 The retrieved hardware must be in good working condition, free from any damage caused by negligence or misuse.
4.2 Any cost of missing or ineffective components will be incurred by the Recipient upon confirmation by Qashier.
 
  1. Communication:
5.1 Qashier will notify the Recipient of its intent to claw back hardware via the contact information provided by the Recipient.
5.2 The Recipient has seven days from the date of notification to ready the hardware in good condition for retrieval by Qashier.
 
  1. Discretionary Exception:
6.1 Qashier may, at its sole discretion, exempt certain cases from the clawback policy based on mutual agreement with the Recipient.
 
  1. Policy Amendments:
7.1 Qashier reserves the right to modify or amend this Soundbox Clawback Policy at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting on Qashier’s official website and all its sub-domains.
 
By accepting the hardware provided by Qashier, the Recipient acknowledges and agrees to comply with the terms outlined in these terms and conditions.
 
Soundbox Payout Withholding Policy
Effective Date: 10 January 2024
 
  1. Payout Activation Requirements:
1.1 To activate payouts from Qashier Pte. Ltd. (“Qashier”), the recipient (“Recipient”) is required to provide specific documentation, including a storefront photo and a screenshot of their bank statement.
 
  1. Photo and Bank Statement Submission:
2.1 The Recipient must submit a clear storefront photo, displaying the exterior of their business premises, and a screenshot of their bank statement through the designated activation portal or communication channel provided by Qashier.
2.2 The submitted storefront photo should be recent, unaltered, and accurately represent the business location.
 
  1. Activation Deadline:
3.1 The Recipient acknowledges that the submission of the required documentation is time-sensitive and must be completed within seven days from the date of the activation request.
 
  1. Payout Withholding:
4.1 Failure to submit the necessary documentation within the specified timeframe will result in the withholding of payouts by Qashier.
4.2 The withholding will continue until the Recipient provides the required documentation.
 
  1. Documentation Review:
5.1 Qashier reserves the right to review and verify the authenticity of the submitted documentation.
5.2 In the event of discrepancies or inconsistencies, Qashier may request additional information or clarification from the Recipient.
 
  1. Resumption of Payouts:
6.1 Payouts will resume once Qashier has successfully verified and approved the submitted storefront photo and bank statement screenshot.
 
  1. Policy Amendments:
7.1 Qashier reserves the right to modify or amend this Payout Withholding Policy at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting on Qashier’s official website.
 
By accepting payouts from Qashier, the Recipient acknowledges and agrees to comply with the terms outlined in this Payout Withholding Policy.
 
Qashier Instalment Plan Policy
Effective Date: 1 February 2024
 
If the Recipient has applied to participate in the Qashier Instalment Payment Plan, the Recipient authorises/agrees with Qashier as follows:
 
  1. The Recipient authorises Qashier to debit the Recipient’s card account for the purchase price of the goods and services in the number of instalments indicated.
  2. The first instalment payment will be made via bank transfer or debited immediately from the Recipient’s Card Account when the Recipient purchases the goods and services. Each subsequent instalment payment will be debited on or about the same day in each following month, until the purchase price has been completely debited to the Card Account.
  3. If any instalment payment debited to the Recipient’s Card Account is not received by Qashier in full when due within 7 days, Qashier reserves the right to hold the Recipient’s payout or cancel the Recipient’s subscription.
  4. Qashier reserves the right at Qashier’s absolute discretion to terminate the Plan without prior notice.
