What is Treats?
Treats is the newest kind of loyalty scheme, and it is easy to get started with. Shops already using Qashier's POS system can switch it on straight away on the POS terminal. For customers, registering and collecting points is as simple as scanning a QR code — no extra hardware, no app to download.
Customers no longer have to carry a loyalty card, so nobody loses out for having left theirs at home, and there is no app either — which means no wrestling with a slow internet connection or waiting for an update. Collecting points becomes genuinely effortless.
On the shop side, where a customer used to have to give or key in a phone number, they can now scan a QR code to collect points instead — either from the bottom of the receipt (on QashierX1 and QashierXL) or directly on the POS screen (QashierXL only). Which is to say Qashier POS does more than give customers the convenience of scan-to-pay — they can scan to collect points as well.
Another advantage for customers: register with Qashier Treats once, and you are into the whole network of participating Qashier shops. Collect points at another shop and there is no second registration to do. How Treats works
Here is how your customers get to enjoy Treats.
1. Look for Treats: look for the Treats symbol or sign at your favourite shops, in Thailand,
Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines
2. Register once, then start collecting: a new customer scans the Treats QR code on the receipt, then enters their details on the Treats web app
3. Shop and collect points: customers earn points easily every time they spend at a participating shop, in one of two ways
– give their phone number before paying
– scan the QR code on the receipt
Points are then converted into a cash value automatically — and, importantly, they never expire.
4. Redeem the good stuff: once you have collected enough points at a particular shop, simply tell that shop on your next visit that you want to use your points, and the Treats points are applied as a discount in place of cash on that bill.
5. Carry on collecting at other shops: drop into other shops that support Treats and collect points there. Your mobile browser remembers your login, so you earn points every time you scan the QR code without registering or logging in again.

The Treats feature makes adjusting point values much easier. A shop sets how many points it wants to award, and what those points are worth when used in place of cash.
