  • Building and maintaining a strong relationship with key stakeholders, including key merchant accounts and our ecosystem partners. Main goal here is to maintain a strong relationship with the stakeholders needed to successfully scale Qashier across SEA

What you should bring along

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales/merchant acquiring/business development. Experience in point of sale and payment systems and/or retail/F&B operations is a plus
  • Strong track record of leading and managing sales teams
  • Proven ability in building scalable sales processes and systems
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives from end-to-end including defining the vision and strategy, to driving and executing a plan

We are looking for a passionate individual that can spearhead the growth of the company and lead our newly established Payments division. Your goal is to answer the question, “How do I ensure that a merchant will use Qashier to accept their payments?”

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee and manage the Payments division
  • Key product owner for the entire payment value chain, from merchant onboarding to payment processing and risk management
  • Identify and implement the payment methods and partnerships with financial institutions needed to build a best-in-class payment acquiring offering for SMEs
  • Lead a cross functional team across Engineering, Product and Compliance
  • Build a scalable payment infrastructure and product across our key markets in Asia
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with key partners and stakeholders, including acquiring banks, card schemes, payment networks, POS terminal vendors and end merchants

What you should bring along

  • 4-7 years of experience in the payment processing/acquiring business of financial institutions, payment service providers and/or fintech organisations
  • Strong understanding of both POS and online payments. Experience with POS terminals and the payment facilitator model is a strong plus
  • Proven track record of leading complex payment projects to completion
  • Up to date knowledge on regulatory and compliance requirements (PCI, EMV, Payment Services Act etc)
  • A firm technical understanding of payment infrastructure and value chain
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a strong focus on execution

In short, you’ll be driving Qashier’s success in the following ways:

Develop, manage and own Qashier’s partnership strategy and ecosystem of partners. Our network of strategic partners include value added resellers, channel distributors, digital agencies, software providers and payment service providers. You will lead the execution and management of our partner relationships. You will also craft strategies, define and structure critical partnerships, facilitate agreements, and cultivate our relationships with our ecosystem of partners.

Work with existing and potential channel partners to grow the business and meet channel sales quota. You’ll identify, recruit and develop new partners and be the primary business contact for Qashier’s channel partners. You’ll provide support to partner sales organisations through training, customer visits, technical and administrative information, demonstrations, or customer price quotes and help drive growth and adoption of Qashier’s products.

Successfully project manage the launch and integration of partnerships. You’ll collaborate closely with several teams internally: Product, Marketing, Sales and Account Management to create Qashier’s value proposition for our partners and end customers and ensure a smooth on boarding and launch of new partnership initiatives.

What you should bring along

  • 3-4 years of experience in strategic partnerships, channel sales or business development, preferably in a technology company
  • Experience in strategic planning, go-to-market strategy and implementation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with C-level executives in partner organisations
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently

What you should bring along

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B/IT sales or in an account management/customer success role. Experience in point of sale/payment systems and/or retail/F&B operations is a plus
  • Strong track record of leading and managing teams

Generating new leads and sales opportunities through cold calls and emails, direct sales, referrals – main goal here is to be creative (and daring) in your approach!

Recommending the best solution to merchants and closing deals: You’ll act as a trusted adviser with each merchant, working with them to establish their business goals and recommending the best solution to achieve those goals.

Assist with onboarding of new merchants: Onboarding of new merchants involve setting up and deploying the Qashier system according to each merchant’s requirements. As the initial point of contact, you’ll be working closely with the Account Management team to onboard new merchants according to their requirements.

What you should bring along

  • Diploma/Degree in any field (fresh graduates welcome)
  • 0-2 years of experience in B2B/SaaS sales and/or POS and payments systems

We are looking for a passionate individual who will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management. Reporting to the Country Head, the Finance Manager is tasked with developing financial strategies for the organisations, ensuring accurate monthly closing and reconciliations and timely financial and management reporting for the region.

  • Design and implement 0-to-1 finance and accounting processes and controls for Qashier’s internal business operations, and work with internal & external stakeholders to refine them over time
  • Oversee the month end accounting cycle, including reconciliations and board reporting and production of monthly reports and financial statements 
  • Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts, budgeting and reporting requirements
  • Monitor Qashier’s cashflow and administer its operating bank accounts
  • Measure and report business and financial performance metrics, and provide critical analysis
  • Management of all Singapore specific compliance obligations (CPF, ACRA, IRAS etc)
  • Support the organisation’s rapid growth across the region and implement financial systems and processes across multiple countries

What you should bring along

  • Relevant tertiary education related to Accounting/Finance
  • 4-6 years of experience in hands-on accounting. Knowledge of Xero is a strong plus
  • Have been involved in systems implementation and excited about helping a startup grow and scale
  • Desire to influence the policies, procedures and overall financial governance of a growing business
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong planning and analytical skills, is process oriented and have a strong attention to detail

Qashier is looking for an amazing Country Launcher (Malaysia) to support our growth!

We are a dynamic and fast growing team that is excited about commerce, retail and payments, and the opportunity to transform these industries with data and technology.

We are looking for a passionate individual to help scale up our growth and launch our business across Southeast Asia, starting with Malaysia. Reporting directly to the founders, the Country Launcher is tasked with overseeing all general management of the business in Malaysia including Sales, Marketing, Support, Operations and Finance.

In short, you’ll be driving Qashier’s success in the following ways:

  • Help design and execute the launch of the business in Malaysia
  • Serve as Employee number 1 in Malaysia
  • Play a critical role in replicating, localising and launching Qashier’s business model in Malaysia
  • Build, train and lead local teams across Sales, Support and Operations
  • Implement best practices across operations
  • Own and manage P&L for Malaysia

What you should bring along

  • Role will be based in Malaysia
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in management, sales or business development
  • Proven track record of successfully launching in Malaysia
  • Experience in building a team from scratch
  • Previous P&L responsibilities
  • Passionate about technology, fintech and the retail space
  • Excited about helping a startup grow and scale
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and make things happen
