400\">Co-founder of Lalang Bar.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We started using Qashier\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">as soon as we started business\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">because we did a lot of research.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And also the point of sales\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">for us to open up\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">before the pandemic is over.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Opening a bar is a dream of mine\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">as well as my daughter\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">because she&#8217;s also involved\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in the business.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There&#8217;s a specific\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">meaning behind the word lalang.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lalang is a grass that\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">grows in the most difficult conditions\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and it will survive.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So just like Lalang &#8211;\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I wanted our business to be successful. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nd when we started this bar,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">we wanted to be different from others\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">because I\u2019m Chinese myself,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">so I have this\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chinese fusion kind of concept.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I have this Chinese decoration\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and Chinese food,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">where any race,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chinese, English, they just come in,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and have a different kind of atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Something different,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">something that people will remember.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We have created our own special cocktail.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We have the Lilac Dream\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">which is a mixture of\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">different kinds of liquor.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We have the ice that\u2019s shaped like a pagoda,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and it&#8217;s kind of\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sweet and mellow\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and very nice for young people.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They will love it.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We have the Around The World\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">that we serve in a special cup.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It\u2019s beautiful.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Also, a lot of customers\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">specially ordered this for themselves.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As for food, we have the Pan-seared Pork Belly\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and Mala Skewers.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And all these are specially tailored\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to match the alcohol drinks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">My favorite feature of the Qashier system\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is the daily sales report\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">because it is cloud-based. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I can access it real time\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and it&#8217;s very convenient to use\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and easy to access and saves us a lot of time.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Another feature that I like\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is the QR payment system\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and the various contactless payments\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">which young people are familiar with.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I feel that during this pandemic,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">contactless payment is more hygienic.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Better than dealing with physical cash.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The most enjoyable part about opening this bar\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is meeting people,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">listening to their\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">views about life, society and their work and all that.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It&#8217;s very interesting.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I make a lot of friends over here.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the same time, I can also make a\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">living out of it.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:
