Qashier marks 5th anniversary with simultaneous CSR projects in Thailand and the Philippines

PHILIPPINES – Qashier, a Singapore-based fintech startup, goes beyond borders, marking its fifth anniversary with simultaneous charitable efforts in two Southeast Asian countries.

Celebrating five years of growth and innovation, Qashier reflects on its journey and the core values that helped shape its success. As a multicultural team, Qashier values the unity found in embracing diverse perspectives and working collectively towards a shared goal – giving back to the community on its anniversary.

“As we continue to expand our presence in Southeast Asia, we worked with the members of our regional offices to participate in donation drives aimed at supporting the underprivileged in two of our key markets, Thailand and the Philippines,” said Christopher Choo, Co-founder and CEO of Qashier.

In Thailand, the Qashier team visited the Camillian Home for Children Living With Disabilities, a charitable organization dedicated to providing specialized care and treatment for children with disabilities who have been abandoned by their parents.

The team also organized a painting activity for the children, recognizing art as a therapeutic intervention that fosters positive emotions. This engaging activity brought smiles to both the children and the Qashier team members.

Meanwhile, in the Philippines, Qashier collaborated with the municipal government of Pateros to extend support to extremely poor families and residents of the municipality. The team also organized a guessing game, where winners received special prizes.
